Easier and reliable way for pipe jointing
FUIS HDPE Butt-Fusion System

What is Butt-Fusion?
The process of HDPE butt-fusion was first developed in the 1960s and has since become a widely used method for joining HDPE components. Over the years, advancements in technology and equipment have made the process faster and more efficient, allowing for greater use in a variety of industries.
In short, Butt-Fusion is a thermo-fusion process which involves heat and fusion boding of polymer components. In this case, the end of two pipes or fittings components is simultaneously heated until a molten state is attained on each contact surface. This process requires an electrical heater plate which brings the pipes or fitting component end to the required fusion temperature. The two surfaces are then brought together under controlled pressure for a specific colling time by the use of a hydraulic unit and a homogeneous fusion joint is formed.
FUIS Butt-fusion is a thermofusion process that involves joining two components of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) by heating them to a molten state and then bringing them together to form a homogeneous fusion joint. FUIS HDPE Fitting is a highly durable, chemically resistant, and environmentally-friendly plastic that is widely used in a variety of applications.
